Dub step performer lines Cervantes', prepares new album By Hunter Stevens / Contributor Christopher Mercer, or known by stage name Rusko, is bringing his distinctive style of dub step to the U.S. and attracting packed houses, as he did two weeks ago in Denver. Playing to a sold-out crowd at Cervantes’ on Tues., April 13, Rusko got the crowd moving right away with a string of his most well-known songs. Hailing from Leeds, England, Rusko has spent the past 10 years making future dub alongside the forerunners of Britain’s dub step world. He also made waves by collaborating with artists such as Caspa, Diplo and Scratch Perverts.
