There is no question that Simon Cowell is a drama king. However, watching him storm off stage with nothing to say after the first girl of the competition was eliminated was, for me, the highlight of the show. During Michael Jackson week, each act performed a legendary song, not just in front of the judges and audience, but in front of the Jackson family themselves.

There are just over half the final acts left, lets face it, the X-Factor USA has been a whirlwind of emotion. Tears and tantrums, smiles and frowns and love and hate. 17 acts, only 12 can remain
Seventeen finalists prepared for their first, and maybe their last, show. Only 12 acts can move on and for the final time, the judges have the power to send contestants home or put them through the next round of The X Factor. How the first live show worked was simple: each act was to perform one after another, and once each act in the category had performed, their respective mentor was to vote one of them off.

Who will sing their way to live shows?
Imagine having to sing for your dream to come true in front of one of the biggest names in the music industry. That's exactly what the final 32 acts had to do during the final process of auditions. The contestants traveled to their respective judge's house, where they waited and anticipated who would be critiquing them on their final performance and becoming their judge-mentor if the contestants make it to the live shows.
