Sigma Alpha Epsilon sorry for 2 Live Crew party flyers

Dear Editor,
The brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon would like to apologize to the Undergraduate Women's Council and the ladies of the University of Denver for the recent inappropriate publicity for the 2 Live Crew party.
The signs promoting the party contained an inappropriate statement and in no way reflects the attitude of SAE toward women.
The brothers of SAE have the utmost respect for women and never meant to degrade or offend women in any way. Also, the pictures of the women on the flyers for the party were produced by Club Avalon and were only distributed by the brothers in order to promote the party.
However, we should have not promoted the party using such tasteless marketing techniques. This sort of behavior is not a reflection of the character of the men of SAE and will not occur again in the future.
We also want to apologize to the Greek community if they feel that we have adversely affected the image and reputation of our population.
