Arguably one of the biggest fads to hit the University of Denver campus since hockey is thefacebook.com. Thefacebook.com is a purely social site that allows students to search for friends not on only their college campus but also across the nation and a few in Canada.
Kristin Funke is interning 60-70 hours a week this quarter but she is more relaxed than most college seniors because she will most likely have a job waiting for her when she graduates. Funke, an accounting major in the Daniels College of Business, is interning at KPMG one of the "big four" accounting firms in the country.
"Thank God for all the people who save things and thank God for all the people who don't," said Lana Mercer, owner and operator of the Mercer Boutique, a resale shop on East Evans. Mercer relies on these people to run her business of selling second hand clothing.
