A DU staff member reported a bomb threat at the Sturm College of Law on Sunday, April 29 at 9:40 p.m. Campus Safety and the Denver Police Department responded to the incident. An on-scene investigation revealed that the staff member received the threat from an unidentified party via e-mail. Director of Campus Safety Don Enloe stated that the building was evacuated and officers from both Campus Safety and the Denver Police Department searched the building for any unusual packages. No suspicious items were found. "We take all threats of violence seriously and we investigate them to the best of our abilities," said Enloe. Enloe stated that Campus Safety has increased its patrolling since the shootings at Virginia Tech, and they will continue to employ increased security throughout the remainder of the school year. "We are trying to have higher visibility and be more involved in the community to help make the campus feel safer," said Enloe.
