Classroom disturbance
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 12:19 p.m. a DU faculty member reported a disturbance at Sturm Hall. A Campus Safety report revealed an unidentified male entered a classroom and created a disturbance. The individual left the area before Campus Safety was contacted. Disposition pending report review.
Reckless driving
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 9:45 p.m. a Campus Safety officer was conducting a routine patrol in parking lot N near Nelson Hall when she observed a DU student driving recklessly in the lot. A Parking Enforcement Officer responded and issued the student a warning. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.
Traffic accident
On Thursday, Feb. 14, at 9:10 a.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of a traffic accident on Circle Drive near the Mary Reed Building. An on-scene investigation revealed a DU staff member driving a personal vehicle collided with another personal vehicle driven by a DU student. The parties were advised to file a report with the Denver Police Department. Minor damage and no injuries were reported. Risk Management will be notified.
Harassment
On Friday, Feb. 15, at 9 a.m. a DU faculty member reported harassment at the Newman Performing Arts Center. A Campus Safety report revealed a DU student made threatening remarks toward the staff member. Further investigation revealed the student had been involved in similar incidents. The student was served a suspension letter and referred to Citizenship and Community Standards.
Underage drinking
On Saturday, Feb. 17, at 12:47 a.m. Campus Safety, the Denver Police Department and the Denver Fire Department responded to the report of an ill party at Centennial Halls. An on-scene investigation revealed an underage unaffiliated party and an underage DU student were severely intoxicated. Denver Cares transported both students to a detox facility for medical care.
Destruction of property
