Support our troops week
This week is Support Our Troops Week. Donations and letters to the troops will be accepted all week. Please contact Danielle at dvansuch@du.edu for more information on donations.

International open house
"Abra a Casa" India the International House's Open House will begin at 6 p.m. today. Students are invited to come and enjoy games and snacks until 8:30 p.m.

Religion
conference
The Department of Religious Studies will host a University and Metrowide Conference on the place of religion on a secular campus. The conference will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in Driscoll Ballroom.
Topics of discussion will range from questioning how religion should be taught and practiced on a secular campus to how secular schools can meet their student's spiritual needs.
Everyone is invited to attend and lunch will be provided to the first 200 registrants. For more information visit www.religious-studies.us.

Earth Day tree planting
As a part of the Earth Day celebrations the Denver Park System and GSIS are hosting a tree planting event on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Those interested are asked to contact Kimberly Kidd in advance because space is limited.

Anniversary jazz concert
Eight-time Grammy Award winning Jazz group, The Manhattan Transfer will perform in Gates Concert Hall on Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. to commemorate the Concert Hall's fifth anniversary.
All net proceeds from the concert will support the Newman Center Building and Operations Fund.
Tickets can be purchased through the Newman Center Box Office.

Holocaust
Awareness Week
Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week will begin on Monday April 28 with a Litany.
The 24-hour memorial, during which volunteers representing many DU organizations will read the names of Holocaust victims in front of Sturm Hall, will begin at 1:30 p.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. the following afternoon.
